Welcome to Villa Terrace

We are excited to announce a new chapter for the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum! As of January 1, 2025, the museum is transitioning to the stewardship of the Friends of Villa Terrace. This marks a fresh beginning as we continue to celebrate and preserve this beloved historic landmark museum and gardens.

A Bright Future for Villa Terrace

Milwaukee County has taken significant steps to ensure the Villa Terrace Museum remains a thriving cultural destination. As part of this transition, the museum will now be under the direct management of the Friends of Villa Terrace. This change will allow us to increase public access, expand community programming, and secure a sustainable future for Villa Terrace and its collections.

Transition Schedule

We will be open starting January 1, Thursdays through Sundays from 11AM to 4PM, and we will host pre-planned events such as Winterlude and Yoga. If you have questions regarding accessing the Villa, please contact us at executivedirector@friendsofvillaterrace.org.

Weddings, Event Rentals and Photography Permits

As of January 1, 2025, Villa Terrace will be using an outside events management firm, Noble Events and Catering, to manage all weddings and private events. Please fill in our contact form to send an inquiry about holding weddings and private events at the Villa.
