We will go over different parts of a landscape: foreground, middle-ground, background and start by sketching. Once kids are ready they may add pastel. Hey kids, grab an oil pastel and come explore the beautiful grounds of Villa Terrace, it’s time to make some art! In this 60 minute session, kids will learn the elements of a landscape as they create their own masterpieces. This class is for any young artist who wants to improve their skills or try out new techniques while enjoying the outdoors. Materials pencils, paper, oil pastels will be supplied. Take home your artwork and a packet with tips and tricks that we went over during class. With instructor Quinn Kammer.

For children ages 6 to 12. Class size: limited to 8 students per class.

Instructor Bio: Quinn Kammer is a Milwaukee native currently attending the Lawrenceville School where she is a junior. She has always been passionate about art and has participated in many competitions over the years. Quinn’s artwork has been published in the Stone Soup and Ranger Rick magazines.
