Tom Mortensen, PLA, ALSA

Tom, a Landscape Architect and Site Planner, has more than 30 years of experience in design. He teaches courses in the UWM School of Continuing Education and directs the Milwaukee office of raSmith. This informative talk will cover basic tree ID tips, the difference between good and bad trees, proper pruning techniques, common tree diseases and insect issues, and basic maintenance guidelines. Tom will also discuss contemporary care methods used to improve the urban and suburban tree canopy.
