Dear Friend,

 

As the holidays come into full swing, we reflect on the year soon to pass and look to the future.

 

Our work at Villa Terrace is centered around preserving our abundant history while protecting the future. Villa Terrace is home to incredible, priceless art, a showcase for diverse artists and is a gathering place for young and old to enjoy beautiful music, play a game of chess, take a class in Yoga, and commune with nature in our one-of-a-kind descending Renaissance garden — the premier showcase on Milwaukee’s lakefront.

 

Each year we begin our holiday celebration with our annual Della Robbia event. This year it takes place on November 30th (there’s still time to register, so we hope to see you there!). We’ll toast Margadette Demet and Joan Janssen, both longtime FOVT changemakers who passed away in 2023.

 

In 2024, The Villa will celebrate its Centennial. We have big plans for a week of events, culminating in our fabulous July 13th Centennial Gala. Be on the lookout for information on tickets, sponsorships, volunteering, and other ways to be involved in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

 

What makes this all possible is your support. We are grateful for your past generosity to the Friends and ask that you consider a gift this year to help continue our mission. We also welcome you as a volunteer!
