About the Event
Monarchs released today will fly the epic journey 2,000 miles to the Monarch sanctuaries in Mexico. Experience the mystery and magic of our most famous and iconic North American butterfly, the Monarch!
- 2:00 PM Butterfly presentation inside Villa Terrace
- 2:15 PM Tagging and release of Monarchs in the Butterfly Garden
After the Monarch release, enjoy a self-guided tour of the Butterfly Garden and historic Renaissance Gardens. Inside the Villa, watch a Monarch video and listen to beautiful harp music by Tahlia Morris. Enjoy butterfly cake while the supply lasts.
